Ever wanted to hang with your friends in a kid friendly environment but with solid DJs, a big(ish) sound, indoor/outdoor flo and an enclosed playground. Well here is your chance!
On Saturday, 23rd March 2024 from 2-5pm come on down to Lansdowne Terrace Community Centre for some rad party vibes.
Bring some food and drink to share, good vibes and some headphones if your wee ones find loud noises overwhelming.

There'll be a hat going around to collect koha to help cover our costs, any left over money will go to charity.
This is an alcohol free event.
If you want to contribute towards making the party even raddererererer whether that be organising decor, activities, games, playing tunes, performing, face painting etc just shout out drh@osc.net.nz.

Overview
A regular physical meet-up of like minded audio peeps in Ōtautahi | Christchurch to work on, collaborate, commune and share in their passion of crafting sound. At first it would be monthly meetup with the aim to make it more regular as the community grows. It will probably be held on a week night between 7pm and 10pm.
Some of the things that might happen at a meet-up include, but is not limited to:
- Gear swap; peeps bring in gear that they want to share with others
- Have another set of ears on your work
- Talk gear, methods, techniques with each other
- Play music on a big sound system to get a feel for how it sounds like Playback
- Guest presentations from touring artists
- Bring your gear and share an experience with others
These things could be discussed before and finalised at the start of each meet-up.
Long term plans
- Synthesiser library like MESS - Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio.
